Weighting Scales

What are weighting scales?

Compact versions of weighting scales are both portable and are able to weigh heavier loads than small pocket digital scales. Weighting scales are still as precise as their smaller cousins but tend to come with accessories to fulfil their extra functions, for example, a weighing dish, or calibration weights.  Weighting scales are great for situations when larger measures need to be weighed out, which can include cooking but business or medical purposes are more typical.

As weighting scales tend to bigger they also tend to be heavier, with even the compact weighting scales weighing in at 500g. Weighting scales tend to be just as accurate, weighing in 0.1g increments, but can take often loads in excess of 10o0-g/1kg.
